About this Project
Pixel Fit came about from the sorely lacking central resource that would combine the various responsive strategies. However, this isn't merely an aggregation of resources. The various resources you will find online about these responsive strategies may offer functionally pragmatic solutions, but most are lacking a comprehensive lens through which responsive design and development finds its ultimate pinnacle of success.
Since one of the core tenets of a truly responsive web is the ultimate inclusive web experience, a careful vetting process includes considerations for:
- Accessibility (a11y)
- User Experience (UX)
- Internationalization (i18n)
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Fast and Efficient Pages
Tech Stack of This Site
- Netlify node with auto-deployments
- Marko Run middleware with folder-based routing
- Marko JS framework
- Skin css library
A Bit About Me
I'm Arthur Khachatryan. I have over two decades of web development/
The last few years, I've had the privilage of working on the platform team at eBay where we build some of the most impressive underappreciated tech. The tech stack used on this site includes the various frameworks, tools, and libraries that our expanded platform team has built.
More About Me
I've worn lots of different hats. I currently work at eBay on the Web Foundations Team as one of the core contributors of the Skin css library and UI Core, the companion javascript library built with Marko JS - the framework that will overtake React. Yes, you did read that right. Skeptical? Check it out for yourself.
During my 8-year tenure at Blackline, I helped build and maintain an efficient, user-friendly reporting platform and dashboards with visualizations.
During my 8-year tenure at Rent.com, I managed the SEO for a bit, managed and led the front-end team, led the project to rearchitect the entire Rent.com website to one utilizing responsive web design - second larg-scale consumer website to go responsive in the world.
